Attempted Flyby

Well was my buddy John B-day so dropped by his place before we went to our usualy wed night hangout and we left there and he said he and wife was stopping at wendy's so i said ok. we got about a mile before and was sitting at a light when this riced out civic-si with wing and primeredup and fart-pipe pulls along side and about a car lenth ahead. I pointed and laughed and my buddy was pointing and i pulled along side my buddy and coughed and we moved off together. well came up the the turn for wendys and i told my friend that i was going to go have some fun and folowed the si through traffic trying to get enough open road to run on, well finally got around a few cars and i waited for him and could hear him coming so droped into 4th around 65-70 and halted his pull when he was 2-3 cars back and either he gave up quick or he didn't have anything cause i put quite a few cars on him up to 100. had to slow for traffic and other lane was moving quicker so he did the obligatory flyby that time. I guess this should be considered a flyby haltl??

Mike, maybe I'm not understanding this correctly. If you hit it with him 2-3 cars back, then it wasn't really any race at all in my opinion.

To be a race, you have to start even. I don't doubt that you still might have won, but starting 2-3 cars ahead is not really a race.

Start from an even advantage to call a kill. My $.02.

i second that one. you should have gave him the head start.

In all fairness Mike, I posted a run not long ago where I hit it with a Boxter "S" behind me. He stayed even and I called it even. This occurred on a freeway in Houston at speeds of 70-110 MPH. He stayed even, neither gaining or losing, so that's how I described it.

After the way me and my buddy was talking and pointing at him I don't think he was going to make it a even start I guess i should have waited till he was by my side or even like ricekilla said let him be ahead. That's why i asked about it being more of a flyby halt.
