Default Couple of Questions

Well.... my first question is if h/p is related to mph in the 1/4 traps, then what does torque relate to in the 1/4 and the 1/8, also what effect do gears have on e.t.'s and mph when running the 1/4....?

Basically, gears put you in your powerband quicker, and keep you there, thus avoiding the BS rpms that you dont want to be in while racing. By keeping your engine in the area with the optimum power, you'll see quicker ET's and a higher mph.
