Cruisin this past weekend...
 

anyone in the southern new england area go to the berlin turnpike in connecticut this past weekend, august 25th. there were about 700+ cars there, and about 30 mustangs easy. I was wondering if anyone besides me was there this weekend?

damn i knew i should have gone! i was thinking about going, but decided just to cruise the strip here. maybe next week i'll go!!

definately go next week. i bet because of labor day weekend there will be even more cars out. keep your eye out for my friends 500hp 69 cutlass, light blue with white racing stripes. far far behind u will see my green 96 GT. seeya there

i just got saturday night off so i plan on going down there! what time do things start getting hot, and where do people usually go? look for my black GT and i'll keep an eye out for u.

OK, I want in. Is this an every week thing? Where, when, who and how? It's only about 3 hours from here and I'm definitly interested.

Hey HiFlow, you and I were talking about the Summer Nationals in "Wooster" - found out its every year on July 4th week. I plan on going next year.

the berlin turnpike is just a 4 lane road in berlin and a few other towns in connecticut, about 10 miles long where most of the racing goes on. its hard to say if theres going to be a lot of cars there, but again, if there were 700 last week, there will probobly be more this upcoming weekend because its labor day weekend. theres cops there too, so u cant be too stupid, but theres just too many people for the cops to get, and its good buisness for all the shops on the turnpike. most people do a few races then pull there cars into friendlys or mcdonalds etc etc and chill, watch other cars race.
