Smile After almost 2 months...new bolt ons...RSX Type S...

Well I finally got her running. The last time I took my car for a spin was back in Dallas at the end of May.

I've fixed my problems (I hope) and installed a set of ASP underdrive pulleys. Which by the way fit well and I have no problems with lights dimming what so ever.

So I go out for my first real cruise before bed and I start off spinning in first, chirping in second and chirping into third! That is the first time I've done that so I think the pulleys made a big difference, definately worth the $70 some odd dollars I paid for them.

Wasn't too long before I ran into a young man in an Acura RSX Type S. I figured that this guy might be good composition as they seem to be rated pretty well in most car mags. From a 30 mph roll I smashed his ego pretty good. I had him atleast by 4 cars to 80 mph, maybe more (hard to tell from rearview mirror). We played again, but this time from 20 mph, but by 45-50 mph he was so far back I think he gave up.

On the way back I caught a couple runs with an MX-3 Precidia (sp?). No contest, much as I thought before I hit the throttle. But I was still impressed how quick I could put cars between us.

All in all I'm really happy with the ASP pulleys. And except for the dam Alternator pulley they were a breeze to install. I just have to get to the track and see what kind of times I can turn!
