Nice #'s. Can't believe the Torque that thing has.

Just out of curiousity, what did GM rate the 99 Z's HP and torque at? Thanks.

Thumbs up

Good numbers! GM builds a car that can make power and then they kill it off. I got to get my car on the road and give those LS1 owners nightmares. A 5.0 Mustang they can't catch !

What the 45K one that, pulled me while I spun then I hooked and started pulling it, that one.

LS1's are so slow Not to mention they sound like trucks, And they break rearends And there trannys suck There interior feels like it was made in tiwan It stole its headlights off a celica after the original ones got sucked out by a 5L

Now start to add some horse power. Lid and filter $150, Cut out $30, 5177 NOS kit $500, A set of ET Streets $160 and salad shooter rims $60.

Of course do the free mods found on http://www.installuniversity.com/ and http://www.ls1.com/

Now you have 400 to 450 RWHP depending on jet size.

Now you have an 11 second car!!

Well i don't have the sheet in front of me, i am at the library killing some time before i see a client.

Off the top of my head it made peak Hp at 5300 or so. Cannot remember the torque. The torque and HP lines are nice and flat though. I was very pleased with how flat they were. After about 4200 it is REAL flat to about 5600 if i remember right. The torque seemed alittle high to me, Dynos can be weird. I am going to have it dynoed again at Mustang Specialties. The torque should be lower, i think, but who knows.
