has anyone ever used the accel 2020 electronic ignition conversion kit

its a 302 but i went with the pertronix i bought the accel unit but it was missing a plate so i took it back. i like the pertronix its just the accel was cheaper. thanks

no prob. i was gonna hook ya up on a factory parts list so you could go with stock electronics, but pertronix will work, i had it on my 74 bronco. ;)

thanks this is just the first of many mustangs to come for me. hook me up with the factory stuff. i like to do that sort of stuff i'm really a car crafter and a sponge for for knowledge. really want rear disc but want to doo it myself no kit. i know its here just got to do the leg work to find it. thanks again. :) :)

i dropped you some links on the ignition swap and a wiring diagram. ive done a few electronic swaps but it was before they had these links up...lol. i went to the salvage and stripped the harness, elec. duraspark box,dist, coil and all so everything matched and all i had to get was a ceramic resistor so i didnt burn up the coil. you can email me and ill let ya in on some rear disc tips, ive had my 71 disc for a few years now and it works great and its factory ford too... ;)
