I have them on stock 10 hole rims with no tubes. Still have a 100k T-5 but the rear is built to the hilt. So far I have only made 2 passes with the ET streets and drove it 30 miles to the track. I would be a little leary about using the stock axles, but have seen people do it at my track without breaking. But you do run that chance. I broke one with 17in Nittto DR's before, and they dont hook very well.

I used to launch my 92 Full weight LX at over 5000rpms with 15x8 ET Drags on 10 holes. This was with stock axels, posi, and T-5, with a 3.73 gear and never broke anything. On the other hand I had a friend with a 93' GT and snapped his axel on a drag radial with a basically stock motor.
Of course its a risk so it's really up tp you and how good your luck is

i run m/t 26x11.5 et streets (screwed, tubed) i ran my stock axles and t-5 into the 11's last year 1 time w/stock t-5 and it started making some weird noises, then on the way home it gave out.
my tremec took a shi! about 3 1/2 months after buying it (new) no matter what you do or buy.........nothings bullet-proof you should be good until low 12's i would think |

tires/axles/T-5
I've been running 26x8.5 Good Year drag slicks for several years with a stock, rebuilt T-5 & Auburn posi w/ 3.73s & stock axles. I launch at around 6000rpms on motor, 5000rpms on nitrous. Everything has held up great. Nothing has broke so far! Knock on wood.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried running the e/t streets at the track without doing a burnout?

A buddy of mine had an '85 with a 200 shot that he launched on the spray with the stock axles on a set of et streets and never had a problem. I think it is just a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
