Yours is one of the faster runners, but it still was not @ 90 in the 1/8ths stock. What are your 1/4 times? now and before, and why no pully swap?

I have the pulley and the puller, but haven't switched it yet. I haven't switched it yet, because I will need a chip burned. Right now I am laid off and can't afford to spend the money on the chip. Besides, by the time I got the puller and pulley it was already time to put it in storage.

I thought I read it as 03 Cobra's were only running low 80's stock (in the 1/8 mile), and only modded 03's were running 91 +. Like I said, I am not trying to flame, I was just trying to shed some light.

Whatever!

I have a question for ya' whats wrong with your SS, 86mph in the 1/8th yet only 107 in the 1/4? those numbers look a little low. with an 86 mph 1/8'th most LS1's would be at 109-110 at the end of the 1/4.

Cool, good luck with the pully change, you get a Diablo ship?

I did say stock 03's are low to mid 80's in the 1/8th, youre right, and I'm glad for you that yours is a stronger runner and you could get in the high end of the range out of yours. I was saying no bone stock 03 was going 90's in the 1/8th. thats reserved for modded ones.

One of the 03's in the family has switched his pullies(both of them) and is having a hell of a time with belt slipage. He is looking for some kind of Piggy back for his 03 since he wants to run N20 on his and his A/F is way to lean even on his current chip.

what were your 1/4 times and MPH?

Don't care to argue pal, let it go! go to LS1.com and post what you are saying and we'll see just how wrong you are! both of my LS1 A4's trapped similar speeds. If I had headers it might be a different story, but I'm bone stock except for a lid and HPP3 for fan settings! If you insist I could go post a poll at some LS1 sites and prove you wrong, but I really don't care. Be a man and let it go!

My A4 LS1 also traps 107 in the 1/4. However, it traps mid 84's in the 1/8 if that helps.

Thats what my 2:73 geard T/A ran but my 3:23 gears SS traps a little higher in the 1/8th as do 99% of the LS1's at the track, I race each week with about 30 other LS1 cars, my only point to Auquman was that most A4 bolt on LS1's with stock manifolds trap 1-2 mph higher in the 1/4 vs the 1/8 such as 85 1/8th 106 1/4.
