Good kill. A4 LS1's are tough. I had an 88GT that had some motor work done. The auto gave me fits off the line, I would catch and pass fairly easy, but much harder to race than a M6 LS1.

I raced an A4 SS with my 03 when I first got it. All I heard was a chirp from the SS and I was a little too agressive and spun badly. I caught and passed quickly, but like you said they test your skills.

Yeah our weight is what gets us down. Sometimes the times are very deceiving because they are tricky to launch. If you launch too low the car bogs bad (due to no low end, at least until boost) that is the biggest killer of mph.

On the other hand if are too agressive then you wheel hop or go up in smoke endlessly.
