Question Remove body moulding GLUE

How do you remove the GLUE from the paint without hurting the paint?

Sounds silly but WD-40 removes the body glue and doesn't hurt the paint. I have used it numerous times. The other option is the ultra expensive 3M adhesive remover (probably repackaged WD)
Contrary to popular belief WD-40 cleans (out other lubricants) better than it lubricates. Use it as a lube and write an obit for the component.

P.S. Saw a picture of your "pretty blue" front K. Looks good. Did you buy the rear coil overs yet?

Just another option.Any body supply store should carry a tool that you can attach to a drill,it looks like a round eraser. this tool is designed for this singular purpose.

Your best bet is probably with the WD-40 as mentioned above. However, if it's only a small amount of glue (emblems...) and you don't have any WD-40 lying around, you can always use some hot water, car wash solution, and elbow grease.

Laquor thinner works but it takes off some paint with it. I'll have to remember the good ole WD.
