famaso 9/21 last chance of the year!
i called famaso today and they said that next friday and sat. was the last of the street racing this year! they may have one date at the end of oct. but doubted it. that sucks the big one! well i'm definately going to try and go next friday. just letting you guys know if you care to go! later,

it takes 2hours and 15min. at 65-75mph. it's roughly an hour furhter than lacr. I'm leaving friday at 5:00pm. so i should get there by 7:15. they start racing between 7-7:30 and it goes until 11 at night. the track is the best around since they closed pomona. jmho.(haven't been to fontana yet though) i'm not sure about the weather there right now but the track is only 800ft above sea level. you should hook up with 89cp as he lives in oxnard as well, he's a cool guy! he knows how to get there too! i would meet up with you guys but i want to get there as soon as i can and i would be back tracking to oxnard, as you can take the 126frwy to the 5frwy! hope to see you guys there http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif

Yeah its a great track, It hooks quite well and is very clean. Its just too damn hot out there, The last time I was there it was over a hundred.

it pretty much sucked! i ran 3 times. all three were 14.0x and my best mph was 101.XX the weather felt pretty cool too.so?? my best 60 foot was a 2.25 http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif(nitto drags) i got better than that on my street tires. a couple of the dragsters blew up, so i think they slimmed the track with oil.?? Damn, if those vettes were only trapping 101 then your fine. Soon as my car is going we'll get to carlsbad and slap the slicks on your car and see what happens. If you can get a 1.7 60' out of it I bet a 12.xx is in order.
