![]() it has a vortech v1 blower, and lots of other stuff
looks like everything's a 'go', the loan co. called this AM and said so, though i still haven't heard from the dealer... I've always had a 'thing' for snakes, it was only normal that i would dream of owning a Cobra Mustang, having seen several while growing up in the seventies. well, I finally get to live it! ------------------ Rob Wegner 90LX |

![]() *******' tailgating fox-body pissed me off tonight!
I'm driving home down a windy road behind another car, and this @$$hole wouldn't get off my butt! considering the weak-@ss brakes in a fox-body, and the four-wheel discs on my ride, i was terrified that a deer would jump out, and this idiot would rear-end me in my brand-new car... the cars in front of me actually did have to stop suddenly for a deer, and i was braking via the rear-view mirror, hoping the @$$hole wouldn't make my fears a reality... it wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't had two large drinks in the lame-o drink holder...if i had punched it, i would have spilled soda all over the leather interior... gads! i was pissed! ------------------ Rob Wegner 90LX |

![]() Man, that is a bad @-- ride!! I hope it goes ok for you. I hear that a blower has a tendency to burn the #5 cylinder on the DOHC(be careful). I was at the mechanics tonight, the guy who told me about this mechanic was there. He just bought a 96 cobra, the engine was being unloaded as I walked up. It had a Kenne Bell blower on it and guess what... rebuild time..

![]() hey skyler!
i still have the lx and a gl now that i have something i can drive, i'll start serious work on the others. i'm thinking that the 82 GL notchback will get the 351W, and the 90 will get a 347 stroker motor. I'd really love to race my two running mustangs against each other. maybe i can get my dad to drive it or something... scott: ![]() rbatson: I'll keep an eye on that. can't say it's thrilling news ![]() Thanks guys! I'm trying to learn how to drive it still. can't hook up at the track so far. 2.13 short time was my best of 4 runs (the first in over a year away from the track), and a 12.9 @ 112 spinning like a dog! the thing needs GEARS! ------------------ Rob Wegner 90 LX 11.8 @ 118 98 Cobra #4699 12.9 @ 112 [This message has been edited by Snakeman (edited 09-24-2001).] |
