Smile First kill after dyno tune!

I was almost home and I was stopped at a red light. I had to keep reving my engine because I think I need my idle adjusted now. Well a Fox 5.0 came up behind me with two young kids in it. I didn't think nothing of it. I just kept reving my engine. The light turns green and I start off and look in my rear view, and I can't even see their hood! So I punch it, spin in 2nd , let off and give it 3/4 and leave them. I slow back down . They pull up next to me, jump a little and nod, so I mashed it in 3rd and put three cars on them like nothing!!! Then they had to do a ricer fly-by. Boy I need my DR's bad!

Here are my before and after numbers,
338 RWHP
361 RWTQ

Now
378 RWHP
401 RWTQ

Anyone have an idea what I should run in the 1/4 now? Best till now has been a 13.3@111 Also, I get my NT-555R's on Wednesday.

How much does your car weigh? What are your 60' times on those 13.3 runs? With a 111 mph you should be in the 12's.

111mph will put you into the 12s with hook. yes weight is a big factor but i predict 116mph maybe a little more. easy 120s with a mild blower grind. ET will come with hook.

FivePointOH, not sure of the weight, my best 60ft has been a 2.1x I have only been down the 1320 about 17 times.

Smooth, I'm afraid that if I put a bigger cam in with 1.7 RR's and 6.750 pushrods that I would smack a piston. I had thought about an E-cam, but again it has a 498 lift.

yeah i remember telling you however many months ago when you got the heads why not do a cam. i think at the time your concerns were programming.

too bad you didn't get those pistons flycut!

Those are some nice numbers! I bet you hit 115-117 mph. You know what the e.t. depends on.
I imagine 12.0's with a 2.0 60 ft. 11's if you can get it out easy.

Exgmguy, Thanks.

You need to get the S-trim out of the box! It's not helping you there!

I get out of the Navy in October and my family and I are moving to Battle Creek (Thats were my wife is from.) Maybe I will run into you sometime.

95Snake, I'm going 12.30's @ 110. My 60ft's are 1.6's. With that MPH you should EASILY be in the 12's and I wouldn't doubt now if you could hit an 11. Get some slicks, remove your sway bar and have some fun.

------------------

94GT Mac Headers, BBK Off-road H-pipe, ASP Pulleys, Pro 5.0 Shifter, 4.10 Gear, Weld in subs, Flowmaster 2 chambers, NOS 150 shot. Best ET 12.34 @ 110.

Fordmanck, I broke my sway bar so it isn't on the car and I just got my NT555R's put on an hour ago! I just wish I could get 60ft's like you. But hey, I was on street tires and still had 32psi in them! (2.1) I'm going to try to get to VMP when they open next month.

Waldoo28, is your car blue? Are you the one who reved at me on base this morning? I go up to VMP, a group of us are going next month. If you want a local board, go to http://race.aplus.net/ then you will know when we are going.
