Ford vs Ford

Well as I was leaving school today I noticed that there was actually, a nice car in the parking lot. It was (i'm not sure what year) a Probe GTS, silver with 2 black stripes, chrome rims, and GTS in big black letters on the doors. Granted this was a really sharp looking car, I wondered who drove it. Anyways, I left school and headed home, which is only about 6 mins away. Well, after about 3 mins in the car, the kid in the probe cuts me off into the turn lane. So i take it calm and say, "whatever, there were a ton of cars that were getting stuck in the traffic." SO it's all good until, what's this, this kid is crazy. He cut me off by about 6 inches after cutting into my lane. So i'm really flamed now, so i just do a drive by, honk my horn and flip-um the bird. So maybe this kid get's the wrong message? He honks at me and speeds up, obviously thinking I want to race him. So what the hell, I go for it. We both started side by side at about 60mph. I just stuck it in forth and thought nothing else about it as i started to pull away. Well as to my amazment after I got my rear bumper to his front he starts pulling on me, pretty good too. Now, I have raced alot of other probes with and w/o mods and haven't really ever had trouble. Although, I don't think I've ever heard of the GTS's, only the GT Turbo's. But I think those were the earlier models that were the GT-T's. So I figure, eh I'll just dig deep into 3rd gear. Well I drop it in and take off. Now here's the odd thing, when I hit about 4800 my car seems to be cutting out. Hmm..time to shift into 4th, and I just about ripped him another ***$hole. Well that was fun for the time being. So I head off to work to pick up my paycheck all proud and everything. I get heading to the bank, and jeesh, it feels like my car is acting up, and doesn't wanna freaking go anywhere. Oh look...now I'm coasting down a hill because I have no freaking gas left. Yeah, I should've realized I was on fumes when My car seemed to be surging.

Good Kill. I hate "Butt Probes". There are too many of them around here and they can't hang. My Girlfriend's Aunt owns a '94. I drove once and it "feels" fast, but you'll get pulled by a 5.0 Mustang or LT1 Camaro from a stoplight.
