Default Fox 5.0 LX vs. my '00 GT

It was a nice day on Saturday so I decided to cruise around and see if there was any good muscle roaming the streets. Ran into an old acquaintance of mine that has always been into 5.0s. He was driving a Fox 5.0 LX. I believe it was a Speed Density car, but not sure. He said it had longtubes, offroad pipe, catback, and all the freebies.
I let him take a look at mine and asked him if he wanted to run them, so we went to a deserted road behind a shopping center. Ran him once from a stop and once from a roll. From a stop we both launched a little soft and were about even out of the hole. From then I just slowly walked away, ending up with about 3 cars at 100mph when we shut down. From a roll it was the same story - the 4.6 just slowly pulled away from the ol' 5.0.
First decent race I've had in weeks.
