Freeway roll with a early 90's DSM
 

Cruzin home the other night when a early 90's DSM rolls by slow. I notice when he is about a half car head that he has 2 A pillar gauges and a 5 inch Monster tach. So I leave the LS1 in over drive and give a hit. He takes the bait:cool:

He ran twice from 65 rolls and I destroyed him. Pulled a good 5-6 cars by 115. Cool guy, we gave each other thumbs up after the race!

Nice. Just beware...next time he might be back on C16 with a T66 :)

You never know with those DSM's....Might be a turd.....Might run 10's on pump gas.

There are a few 11-12 second DSM's over here.

Yeah, my buddy's GS-T was a monster. Ran high-11s in the 1/4 at 120mph+, but beat my low-11 second superbike from a roll on the freeway!

If the DSM happen to beat you, then just get him to race you a few more times. He is bound to break something. :D

dsm are prone to breaking a lot stuff it just depends on what year motor they have

My buddy's Eclipse went through like 5 clutches and 2 or 3 trannies in a few years.

my buddy went through 4 tranfer cases in 2yrs(gsx awd)

and 4 clutchs and 2 motors but then again he is pushing 25psi out of a 60trim turbo and knocking on the door of the 10s

Rummor has it that he may be getting a set of fangs (but of the pushrod variety).
