Z28EATER...i had the same problems when doing the springs on my buddy's car with his 4cylinder springs we put in the front...we ended up breaking one of the damn compressors from auto zone. anyways...we got it to fit in the best we good to where we thought we could maneuver the compressor out of the spring & a-arm and then BEAT it in with a 16lb. SLEDGE HAMMER. Worked just fine, and the spring compressor came right out. Nothin' like a little engineering.
