Jerry Gannon Crashed at Atlanta Dragway

I know this is a Ford forum, however fellow racer Jerry Gannon, age 50 of Ohio, died on June 2nd as a result of injuries sustained in a crash in Commerce, Georgia.

He drove the WorkMat sponsored Camaro jet funny car for the Gustin Racing Team. He will be missed!

I'm so sorry for your loss Cindy!

At least he was involved in a cool (even though sometimes dangerous) hobby...I'd rather be living on the edge and having fun then staying inside scared of everything that could kill me!

My best wishes go out to his friends and family, tradegies like this are very unexpected

that sucks, my best wishes go out to his family, at least he died doing something he loved, thats too bad.
