I want to add something here.

The last couple of weeks I've read several times that "Ford has this recall and that recall". Or that "Ford has the most recalls of any car maker."

Somehow this is considered bad. Why?

When my wifes cavalier blew a head gasket I was real pissed to learn that if it was Ford, Ford would have helped with a cost (3.8 head gaskets were partial covered by ford). But Chevy didn't have any assistance. Even Chysler had a freaking assistance package for it's head gaskets!

Recalls don't always mean that a car is crap. It means that a car company is standing behind it's product and helping the customer. That's something that makes me feel more confident with my purchase.

All I know is that I'm not buying another chev product, there are too many problems and not enough recalls.
