Pullys.. unless you can get a used set for ~$50, dont waste your $.
The 10bolt may be weak, but if the gears are setup properly, it'll take alot of abuse.. way more than one would think. Ppl with autos pull 1.4X 60's on them.. preload is wonderful. I launch my 6spd at 3800-4500rpm on slicks.. with 4.10's no less (thinner teeth), and have no problems. I dont expect it to last forever however
Boltons are nice... but the power is in the heads/cam ..... id save $ and go for the good stuff
If he wants to stay n/a.... used n2o kit ~$300.. not too bad.
