Going to the Track tonight, race with a supercharged 00 SS

Hey guys, long time no chat. Well, there is a guy in town with a Blown SS. I don't know ifyou all remember me talking about the guy in the 98 Z28 that told everyone he beat me, when he jumped me around a U turn, but this is him, but now he has a 480 rwhp SS. Heh heh heh. We'll see

I am hoping for an 11.1-11.2 @ 125-127. I just put my 1 chambers on and it sounds AWESOME! I will let you all know!

11.2 @ 126... ouch! you should be in the 10's with that mph especially in a foxbody. Good luck though.

with the hp/tq listed in your sig, i don't think you should have any problems as long as you get a good launch.

Hey you have any sound files with the 1 chambers? I bet it's pretty sick.... you should show that SS your tailights with your mods and hp....

I heard a blown 306 with 1 chambers at the track, it sounded mean as he11, and when it bounced off the msd rev limiter it sounded tough, and tearing up almost anyone there, including some trailer queens, let us know what happens..

You are going to beat him badly. 480 rwhp at full weight(3,700#s) is not going to get him close to your ET and mph. At best he will run mid 11s at high 1-teens maybe 120. If he still has the stock rear and clutch, he might not make it off of the line with slicks and a hard launch. Why can't I ever get races like this?

OK, sorry about the delay. My internet has been down.

The track was packed, so I only got to run twice.

The first run I ran up against Todd(the guy with the SS)

It was A LOT closer that I would have ever thought.

I really need to swap out suspension, and I think after this, I will.

I ran: He ran:

60ft: 1.69 1.77
330ft: 4.91 5.07
660ft: 7.36@102.94 7.65@96.06
1000ft: 9.52 9.89
1/4: 11.344@127.13 11.761@119.37

My second run, I ran against a 98 GT that ran a 14.6. I had the left lane and launched better,getting a 1.63, and ran my best time of a 11.193, but at a lower speed of 126.82.

I think that after I swap out my suspension, I will have a 10.
