Default Timing adjuster and pulleys???

I was reading around for new parts for my stang, and i came across the steeda timing adjuster.I never payed much attention to it before, but it claims a 10hp increase, and better gas mileage. So how does a timing adjuster work? And where does it go on the car? Also if i install the steeda timing adjuster and the steeda underdrive pulleys. How many HP can i expect.Maybe 10 at the wheels?

ever notice your car doesn't have a distributor?

To change the timing on a mod car, you need to either reprogram the computer (chip) or trick the magnito. The Steeda T/a goes on top of the crank pulley and does the latter.

Together they are good for maybe .15 in the 1/4.
