From what I've heard you can go to a Saab dealer and ask for one for an older 900 turbo and its like $35. I have not confirm this though. Vortech and Powerdyne want like $100 for one. Brad

A bypass valve is normally used on supercharged cars that run 8lbs of boost and up. I think they should put one in every kit.
It attaches between the blower intake and the blower discharge. When the engine see's vacuum (idling, part throttle) the valve is open and allows excess boost build-up in the intake track (blower to TB) to recirculate into the intlet of the blower. This helps make everything more efficient and build up less heat, it can also save your blower from excessive boost levels in the intake track. Like when you let off the throttle at 5k rpm. The supercharger is still spinning the same rpm. Without a bypass to release the build up boost in the intake track damage to the s/c'ers impeller could occur. It will also help with any surging the car might have. Hope I helped Brad
