So your cousin beat him eh? Does he still want to race YOU? If he does something is majorly wrong and he's messin with your head. NOBODY can be that dumb. If he still wants to race you he's gonna show up on slicks and nitrous too. Maybe he just sandbagged the race with your cousin? Not to take anything away from your cousins car at all...but just keep that in mind if this clown still wants to race you.

Have you been to Fontana yet? Im getting my rear end fixed real soon. I've decided to go with an Eaton rebuildable carbon fiber trac loc and 410's.

This is a classic example of a guy talking crap about a 13 second car. Gotta love these guys.

Well my cousin raced the 383. And he won by about 1.5-2 cars. The owner of the 383 says that he burned em all the way till 3rd and thats why he lost though. So I dont know.

You know, I really don't think it is.....I'm assuming the 383 was on street tires? And just to be honest, a 383 with trick flow heads, and 850 demon, etc.... is not going to run 13's with traction, more like 11's or better. Sky even said it himself that he runs 13.7's on street radials, and 12.5's with traction. My tires are 18.5 INCHES WIDE EACH, and with my 383 it will destroy the tires in every gear. Once you get into 12, 11, and 10 second cars, traction is everything, or you could be running 13's or 14's+.

Well I think its a quick car, but something is definatly wrong with it, or it isnt all its supposed to be.

He definatly lost because of traction but it doesnt have the power a TFS headed 383 should have. Either he got ripped off or something wrong with the car.

Im helping him figure that out now.

It's probably a junkyard 305.

I have run quite a few cars over the years that "should" be very fast, but are not. And they ALWAYS have some poor excuse why they only went low 14's or so.

Some just don't run.

Yeah I went for a ride in it.

Its not running like a TFS headed 383 should thats if for sure.

We got the build sheet on the motor, but I wonder if its even for this motor or what.......

Were gonna check it out and maybe take the guy to small claims court.

Ahhhh, WTF...was he under the impression it had TF heads, and a demon 750, etc...That stall is really low, and the heads...well.... no wonder it doesn't run like it should.
