Nice, it is always fun to try a bike on the highway. But, if that was a 1000cc he would have killed you if he was trying, passenger or no.
From your mods he prob left it in 6th gear and rolled on. I have raced my friends R1 and GSXR750 from rolls in their 2nd-6th gears, the R1 stays with me in 6th, bearly, in 5th pulls slowly in 4th kills me, the other two make it look like I threw out the boat anchor.
Anyway, not doubting you fun, just remember a litre bike will kill most cars on the street - especially from a roll.

Both riders were well over 350-400Lbs my car is light as well 2900Lbs I will see about the Hp soon getting it to the dyno in a few weeks But It Flys on the Highway!!!

he would have won EZ had the rider not been there.

Bikes are a lot weaker from a highway roll than they are from a dead stop or street start. Take my FZR. It's no bad boy of the motorcycle world, but with a kick *** rider, it could see the 11's. My near stock 87GT can stay neck and neck with it from a highway roll. Bikes get most of their advantage from a dead stop. When you add a second rider, race weight can really jump. An old 750 might weigh 600lbs. Add two riders, now it weighs 900lbs. Probably about 75rwhp, 900lbs = 12:1 weight to hp. Take a mild modded 5.0. Say it's a coupe at 3150lbs with driver. 220rwhp. 14.3:1. A couple points can be pretty substantial, but bikes aren't exactly real aerodynamic in a lot of cases either. If you do the example above with say a early 90's 600 you get 800lbs with two riders, and 60rwhp stock. Now you're looking at a power to weight of 13.3:1. The 1000cc bikes are pretty much untouchable for most cars. Even the weaker ones now put out 100rwhp easy.

All valid points, and I dont want to get into the car vs bike thing BUT.
1. Power to weight plays less of a factor at speed
2. My car has over 300 at the wheels and I get KILLED by both the GSXR750 and R1 if they decide to shift into 2nd or third on the highway - it is not even funny how hard they pull me. End of story.
Come on, I have seen, ridden and owned powerful bikes, if they do 11's or even 12 sec quarters the traps tell the story 115 for slow ones to 135+ for strong litre bikes they will be strong on the highway.
In any event I am sure you beat the guys, he its street racing, not your fault if he cant ride or the bike is in poor shape.
Good kills!
Mike

I ran out top end with a 600cc sport bike and was amazed that i did as well as i did, but a modern 1000cc sportbike will murder just about anything.
