i hate that camaro ss
 

other day heading home about 4:00pm not any people on the road heading for a red light a red camaro ss pulls up beside me and gives me a look. I cant back down so rev to about 3,000 rpm and wait for the light, its on i spin in first (bad start) then hammer it in second by that time hes pulling away thats when i knew i need an upgrade.

Ls1's run really strong. More often than not, if you want to hang, you gotta modify.....even then, whoever spins the most or misses a gear will lose.

next time if run into this try leaving off the line lower 1500-2000 with feathering the clucth you would better off leaving slower and not spinning and he might spin so if can get far enough out on him he might just let off and you have the win well on the street that is . cause with you and I both have in mods its very hard to keep up withb any ls1 on the strip cause even if you can keep them off the first half the track they always seem to come up on the top end but keep trying . just remember in racing anything can happen he could miss a shift or spin real bad or just do what I plan on doing add a lot more power and the susp. to go with it
