The forks on these bicycles can break apart, causing riders to lose control, fall and suffer serious injury.

Dynacraft has received six reports of the forks breaking apart on these bicycles resulting in injuries that include abrasions, cuts, bruises and broken teeth.
I'd look into it if I were you.

Take care,
-Chris

Any decent mountain bike starts at $500.00 and goes up from there. If you pay less, you are buying a junk toy and should not be ridden hard.

I work for Target, (toy dept). an I didn't beleive the Daynacraft's were any good either, purely from a construction support POV. look at the construction of it, its missing a 2'nd support from the seat to the frame. I kept thinkin, "it's a matter of time before that thing snaps, an hurts some kid. that sucks crazyhorse. take the bikes back. we don't see a lot of return on bikes, but if somthin looks weird on a bike, its probably a design flaw, which compromises the overall strength of the frame. we 'll be more than happy to work with ya to find a good bike. I'd hate to see a fellow future junior stanger get hurt because of my store GASP! they could hold a grudge an could turn GM or rice on us! i'm not in charge of purchasing what we have. all I do know is we're a hell of a lot nicer than Walmart an we have friendlier, more courteous people workin for us.
