Post Barely pulled 00 GT....

We lined up going from about 20 mph, as far as i know he was stock with auto, i also have an aod. I give him the go first, he jumps about about a car out and after a couple of seconds i begin to pull him in, and by 105 I had about a length between us. I thought I would have taken him by alot more? I was also running just below 900 psi
on the bottle and 87 octane (real bad idea).
Its also done this before, acting like it takes a second for the nitrous to kick in
then i start to pull from behind. Any input is welcome....

Ya, with an 80hp shot, i'd think you would have pulled more on him.

get a purge system. nitrous bottles get mositure inside of them and the first little bit u get is the mositure. When u purge the system u get rid of all the moisture and just get the sraight nitrous. A bottle warmer also helps to get the psi up.

Are you sure it was a "stocker?" Even with the bottle not working to it's full potential and the engine in ping city it still should have hauled some ASSparagus.

What else has been done to your car? I may be wrong, but you should be running at least low 13's with street tires. That is enough to whip a '99-'00 GT

Ya, i really need to invest in a bottle warmer and a new purge, I took my old one off because it wasn't working properly. All thats been done to my car is listed in my sig. The GT may have had some mods, but it looked and sounded stock. Thanx for the help guys.
