A couple nights ago, my brother and I decided it was time to see whos car was faster. My car, a 65 stang with a 6cly and 3 speed, His car is a 74 camaro with a 350 and 3spd auto. We found an empty stretch of road, lined up, and floored it. I took him off the line, and kept up with him all through first. Shifted into second, he started gaining on me. At the top of second, about to shift into third, is when he started pulling away from me. After i shifted into third, he was pretty much gone. It was fun, we raced a couple of times, with pretty much the same outcome. I think he probably could have taken me off the line too, but it was wet out, so he was probably just spinning. I cant wait to get the 302 that i am rebuilding into the mustang, then i think it will be a different story.
