Word to that unit!

unit doesnt claim to kill all ls1's with his 87 5 oh, he just like me when it comes to that, i simply out drove a 99-01 firehawk just last month, yea, so i was on e.t streets, but these guy's were rookies on the track, i wasnt, i hooked, they didnt? they couldnt even pull until the 1000 ft where it barely evened out, i think if he knew how to drive, he would have dogged me, just like on the street, anything happens out there on the track too, and those guys thought i had heads, suspension, and gears, lol, not even close.

First off: Invincistang: you are a moron. Oh my god are you a moron. Haha, wow, so did this make your penis bigger or something? Hmmm, probably not. Keep looking, it's probably there.

Second: My old 94 GT had the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in! My father, a year ago, had a BMW 328i, newer style, and the stang seats were more comfortable. Now, of course, this were not the top of the line BMW, but still! The Mustangs just have a nicer interior than your LS1 crap .

Beating an SS or WS6 with a stock GT to 130 will almost never happen. They will definitely outmuscle you once the torque multiplication stops in 4th gear(3rd-auto). I remember reading a comparison between the 99 GT and 99 Z28 and the thing that freaked me out the most was the time it took the GT to reach 130 vs the Z28. The Z28 hit 130 in a full 11 seconds faster than the GT. They are not 11 seconds faster in the 1/4 so you figure out where it happened. I agree with the person that said to the 1/8th because the GT simply has much better gearing multiplying the torque. Race an ss with an auto(3.06 1st) and converter and you will be killed in both ends of the 1/8th.

One of the smarter comments I have heard in a while on here!

It was obvious from the start he was clowning unit and Merc. Atleast it sounds like merc has seen the light after going to the track and is going to mod hard so he does not have to worry about those pesky LS1's. As for unit well....

As for the F-bodies having poor interior and what not that is true, but when it comes to pure power the LS1 rules. Ofcourse I would probably buy a new GT/cobra and just mod away, so I can end up with the best of both worlds
