Default you got him

I took down a type r with my wife's SHO. I was cruising on the expressway, passing a car at about 70 and one came up behind me when the car in front got out of the way he tried to keep up but by 130 he was a dot in the mirror. I done alot to the SHO and I can run with moderately worked gt's. So go for it.

The way that I read English his post said that they will race when the cat and the MAF problems are fixed. Granted, I am a biased MUSTANG enthusiast, but mods other than cams or power adders on the Type R add very little horsepower because these motors are well optimized from the factory.
The 5.0 on the other hand begs for mods and responds very well to them. I'm just saying that with his mods if both cars are running well he could burn out on the launch and still walk the Acura.
i know someone with a type R that beat a 90 LX 5.0 with a new cam, heads,373 rear end. just tore him up

Post TYPE R

Alright guys sorry for those replys by top secret and mr2. They are my freinds and they think imports are the s***. Anyway the street is more than an 1/8 mile. I've raced on it before and hit 100 before I shut down. Also mr2, if you read this, do you know how to do engine swaps? No, you don't. You can bring up the fact that a Hybrid Sh**vic can keep up with an auto GT all you want because the Honda has probably over 1000 lbs. less than the GT. If you want to talk crap you can race me in your N/A MR2, and after that I'll race top secret in his 94 Celica. Come on guys, are you kidding me? Sorry again guys, thanks for all your input.
Later,
Will
