Post Integra type R...

Just to clarify for me since I don't know too much about Acura. The Type R Integra is not exported to the USA, correct? So most likely any Type R's are just badged as such?

I just asked because there is a guy here on post that is tricking out his "Type R". My car isn't all that fast but I at least want to go tell him how stupid he is in front of his friends.

I'd be nervous about running him anyway as my cars not running too strong lately. But I do want to call BS on his little badges. Any thoughts??

The Acura integra type-r is exported to the US. It's the civc type-r that isn't.

Has a stock Integra Type R run a mid 14?

Sure.

Has a stock 87GT run a high 13. Yep.

Do we quote the car at it's absolute very best potential? Nope, cause only 1/1000 people can get it to do it.

From what I've seen posted by Type R owners, they run low 15's stock.

The ITR is capable of a 14.7 (best i've heard stock) but most of those idiots are gonna drive it to a low 15. It is in the us, but there are very few real ones. 195hp and 127ft/lbs, absolutely disgusting.

I believe that this car is now going out the window in favor of the new RSX. It's bigger, heavier (200 lbs) and only has 5 more HP in the type S model (the replacement for the Type R).

Although the reviews I've read have said that it gives more room to the people in the back!

There will a RSX Type R in the future. I would guess around 220 hp.
