A KILL AND A QUESTION
I was cruising home when I came to a stoplight that merges onto the freeway and the light was red. I look over and see a white fox body mustang. Now I have not seen another fox body mustang that looks like this one. It had a body kit and said GT350 and had a cobra emblem that looked like it had been glued on. anyway I look over at the guy and see he is looking at the Z. That is when I knew it was on. The light changes and I hit it. I run it up to about 85-90 and look in the mirror to see him a couple lengths back, It appeared as though he had given up at that point so I let off. Then when he caught up and drove by I noticed his car sounded damn good It was loud as all hell.(I couldn't hear his car before we started because he was not directly next to me he was a couple lanes over.)
To the question now. What the hell was that thing. what are the specs. It was not slow and it sounded good. does such a beast exist or was it just some fox body w/ glued on emblems and a body kit. The owner is an older guy who doesn't seem like the type to build some fake what ever the hell it was. Later |

I'm not sure if I'm right, but it sounds like an '84 GT-350. It was pretty sucky. I think it was rated somehwere in the 205bhp range. It was a 2bbl 302 with the worst exhaust system in the world.(next to the Camaro's that is )
Anyway, hope that makes you feel worse for killing a 'Stang. ------------------ "Is that a Cobra?" "Yeah" "It's a V6, right?" "Yeah" |

Good Kill Man! Sounds like it was the 84 Cobra. If I recall they came with a 175 hp v8 engine or the 4cyl turbo. A kill is a kill.
