Just got back from Lebanon valley N.Y. Ran my car ,best time was a 12.5 at 109mph. Kind of dissappointed ,but my clutch slipped from the first run on. I have'nt run slicks on my car in awhile but the first launch the clutched slipped like crazy. I never felt it slip on the street, That run was a 13.2 at 107mph. A friend suggested I slip the clutch in the pits maybe oil on the clutch believe it or not this worked a little I was able to get down to a 12.5. but still slipping in 3 and 4th. I also ran on my stock tires and ran a 13.4 at 109mph. Last time I ran my car I got a 12.6 at 111 that was 2yrs ago. It was at e-town N.J. and since then I took off the off-road h pipe and installed an x pipe with cats. Also I dynoed it and found out my fuel ratio was extremly rich and was still only to get up to 10 to 1. I was expecting to go faster since we raised the air fuel ratio a bit getting up to my 353 rwhp. I'm thinking the x pipe hurts the performance and I am told this track has bad air. Anyone know how to figure out corrected times for this track. It was hot today about 85 degrees so that did'nt help.
