Default Launching Technique w/ N2O ???

Hi All,
I am new to the N2O scene, and am looking for advice as to how to launch this car???

It is a 1991 GT w/ a NX 150hp kit, I will be running ET Streets 26x10x15, w/ Eibach drag springs and lakewood 90/10 fronts & 50/50 rears.

i have a MSD 6AL, and also want to use a 2 Step module to control launch RPM. I was also looking into a RPM Window Switch.

So what is a good Launching approach at the track for this setup????????

ALSO
IS the Jacob's MASTERMIND worth the $$$ or should I just use the MSD rpm window switch???

PLEASE HELP, I am getting anxious???

Any Tips???

Thanx,
LOBE

I spray 150 with 28x10.5 ET Streets with a T-5 car. I have around 14 psi in them, Normal burnout. Hold the R's around 4000 rpm and drop the hammer. 60 ft's were in the 1.6's.

With good tires and some slight improvements in the stock suspension, you should have no trouble spraying a 150 shot straight off the line. When I sprayed my cars, I had heads, cam, the whole deal, I sprayed it straight off the line with a 150 shot running G60 McCreary's with no problem.

Any progressive controller is a good idea, or so I think. Especially if the track you run at isn't prepped well. The Jacob's unit allows you to control your timing from inside the car too, that is always a plus. I had a MSD product like that. When I ran on motor I could just turn the timing way up, running nitrous I turned it down. All from the inside of the car.

Default NOS

Also, consider a 2 stage system. Less in first and full in last 4 gears. Im looking at running a 100 hp first stage and then putting a total of 250 into 2nd, 3rd ect.

Also, when putting it in(installing) consider using one large fuel pump with a single larger diameter fuel line. Why? If by chance you're using 2 pumps and lets say one of them go out, like the extra fule for the NOS, you'll end up hurting the motor and wont realize it until the end of your run. If the pump goes out with a single pump system, Then the car will turn off and no damage done.
