LS1 Vs. '00 GT
 

Rollin down the interstate saturday night a '00 GT pulls up, downshifts, and kicks it a few times next to me. I'm think he must have something to pick on a LS1 from a 60 roll. Nice lookin car...18" Cobra R rims, lowered, sounded tough.

I don't take the bait right away...tryin to stop runnin on the street, but he just kept at it. Put the A4 in 2nd, we kicked it and i pulled hard on him. Put about 4-5 cars on him by 100 mph and let off.

He pulled up afterwards shakin his head and giving me a thumbs up :) Cool guy with a mean sounding stang.

:D Gotta remember that lots of guys don't know how hard the LS1's run and just want to race a Chevy. Nice run.

True they may not. It was still a lot of fun.

Why don't you pull up to a little red LX coupe :D

I am sure this is not going to be the last stang that beast tears up.

Its not bad, pretty slow compared to the other two cars tho. I just got the exhaust re-done on the 93, and the SOB hauls some *** w/ those 2.73 gears, spinnin the tires to the top of 2nd gear. which is like 90mph.

Goddamn Chevy guys talking about beating a Stang:D

I have yet to run one of those LS1's but i know that they run really quick.Nice run;)
