LT-1 race
 

if u didnt believe me runnin with a LS-1 then u wont believe this, but a firebird with the LT-1 i it and a stock lx w/ auto, 5.0 only has shift kit and new shifter, from a rollin start the 5.0 handed the LT-1 his ***. ur all gonna say this 1 really is BS but i figured i tell ya for the hell of it. and no joke the 5.0 is stock, kid just bought it and he has another 5.0 with twin turbos, i guess he just wanted another stock 5.0

i belive it... We got a 93 5.0 that swallowed up a 99 vette great fun!

lmao, ur brain hurts huh? u drive a mustang and im guessin a ford guy, but yet u talk like mustangs r slow and chevys r gods of car, u really r ignorant, ur like oh i love my mustang but when it comes down to it, no matter wut ur gonna say a chevy will beat it. maybe it would beat ur car, cuz ur list of lotsof mods probley consists of a black light that blinks when ur sub hits and a steering wheel cover. u might as well have another car probley a gaymaro cuz all u can do is say oh it i BS and the mustang would loose. if u say the mustang would loose that means ur car isnt fast enough to beat 1, and u have "lots of mods" line my pretty much stock car up against u, and ill show u where ur mistaken and where the BS really stand. it will be standin with u at the line.

First of all, my brain hurt from reading your post because you write like a handicapped fourth grader. Second, I was calling BS on the guy saying his stock 93 GT beat a 99 Vette, not on you. Third, (from what I could make of your chicken scratch writing) you said if we didn't believe you beat an LS1, we were never going to believe you beat an LT1. That makes no sense, since the LS1 is much more powerful stock than the LT1.

Last, my list of mods on the GT is this:
Ford Motorsport 4.10 gears, C&L cold air induction with 80mm MAF, Steeda Underdrive Pulleys, Bassani X-pipe, Magnaflow Cat-back, Custom tuned Autologic Chip, Steeda Subframe connectors, sport springs, caster camber plates, and strut tower brace. So, no, lol, unless you're driving an 03 cobra, your stock stang will not beat mine. You could try your luck against the 94 cobra, but you might want to hurry, we're putting a cam and some gears in within the month, then it's gonna be mean.

Oh forgot to mention. Those cars were parked on the side of the road.:D . Sooo, I guess it really wasn't a race so much as me commuting to work and them stopping to get something to eat.:D

Okay, well anything can happen on the street i guess, so good kill. You do realize there should be like a 2 sec difference in ET's though, right? (not to mention about 15mph trap difference as well)

I don't want to make people real mad, but I pulled a z28 with my lx Escort. He had me out of the water, but I got even and dusted him trough second. Don't believe it? It happened. Actually happens all the time. I rev on guys and then just dust 'em real bad in that car. It's stock and its mean. Must run low 12's in the quarter because I almost never lose. Thinking about runnig Famoso this weekend, but I don't have the right gear for that ET.

What I'm really saying is unless both cars know its a race, then you can DESTROY faster cars. They don't realize I actually want to race until its way too late. By then most of them are just laughing at me anyway.

Deuce...that's exactly right. I can't tell you how many times I've smoked faster cars.....an SS, 2 Z28's, a Cobra, 2 vettes (1 being a Z06) in my commuter car - a Toyota Echo (damn it's silly looking......but it gets 44mpg). And the funniest thing s that I've got a NOS sticker in the rear p/s window. They all went down......and they didn't even know it! :p

I agree Vettes are not all that great. Especially the vettes from the 70's and 80's. But a 1999 Corvette with 345/350HP SHOULD make easy work of a 215 HP Mustang. I'd be the first to say a Modded Mustang could take a Vette, even with just Heads, Cam, Intake and bolt ons. But stock vs. stock, I have trouble believing that.

And LT1's are nothing special. I can take LT1 in my "heavy" SN95 5.0L. LS1's are another story.

I agree, give more info to back up your story and talk a little more coherently and we will believe you.

Looks like your in Ventura, right close to me. Where are you guys doing all this racing?

it's alright GEN dont let them get to you. the dude in the vette was probably blind and couldnt tell you were even racing. (cuz most dudes that drive vettes are old ha ha ha. just in case you didnt get it..) i wouldnt know. the only vette i have ever raced was a mid 90's LT1.
