I think it was probably a Taurus SHO which was not a slow car to begin with. Then, from the way he just started pulling on you, it sounds like he was spraying. So you likely lost to a Taurus SHO with NOS. Is your stang stock?

Ya, what kind of stang do you have? I agree with StoplightWarrior, it was probably an SHO (the old model SHOs ran a mid 15, they also have dual exhausts), and the way that he "just started to pull away" he probably sprayed.

You should get a 75 shot of nitrous and some drag radials.. That would put you way down in the 14's Good luck

I eventually will get some NOS later on. I first need to save up. Because I will not only spend on the NOS I will have to put some forged pistons on it. And also have to get some performance brakes with rotors, so I can slow down. then I know i will kick some a** on the street |

Oh man. but to tell the truth Taurus' glide at 60+
but I think it was a regular Taurus or GL, with the rice pipe. It had to have nitrous because you can't fit a Turbo in because there is NO space, plus many other problems. I know because I own a Taurus and was thinking about nitrous for it. I would say come and race me too... to bad you were not around for me 'skateboard vs. shopping cart' race. Me and a Chevy van. Hahahahaha.....

yeah, but it was short because I had 5 people in the car and one kept saying stop don't get a ticket... thhey said it about three times so I stopped the van kept rollin' though. I had to stop I really did not want a ticket and I know alot of cops were around that area. NO is was not a high power thing about 45-55 to the next light, which the van ran, by the way.
