Can someone in my area refer me to a good mechanic?
I am having timing issues (along with my other problems) and I think it's beyond my comprehension. I need to find a good mechanic in my area but since I do most of the work to my car, I don't have a mechanic to go to. Can someone please help. Thanks, Keith.

The only non-import shops I can think of right now are speed shops in Orange, like Fast Eddies.
If Chris can make it down, I'd volunteer him to help set the timing, can't think of a mechanic I'd trust more around. There is a shop called Mustangs West Off Via Fabricante (Jeronimo and Alicia) in Mission Viejo, but I think they only do much older cars. I'll hit up a local club site and see what else I can find.

I would have Chris work on it, but he's too far
He's in Ventura so I don't think this is a big enough job for him to travel this far. I had asked him to work on my car before, and he told me that he wouldn't know where to buy parts. Believe me, Chris is my first choice for a mechnic, but because of the distance, I don't think it's going to happen. Thanks for any help with a mechinic though, Keith.

I know its far, but he may be down here for the cruise tomorrow anyway. Are you bringing the truck, or going to try the Mustang?

I'm going to..
have to bring my truck unfortunately. I have my mustang taken apart in my driveway, so I can't bring it. I would love it if Chris would work on my car (I'd pay him, of course) but I don't think it's going to happen. Keith

I have spent most of the past two nights trying to get tomorrows job done early, but by 11:30 tonight, i was just too damn tired of working. I still have a good 6 hours left on it, so tomorrows out.
Keith, your problem is simple. I will walk you through it. If you can get it running halfway decent, you can bring it up here during the week. I'm racing next weekend, but I think the next weekend is free. maybe we can work something out. Take care, ~Chris
