1994 Modded Z28 Vs Modded 5.0 Truck
Hey since you guys are into street racing like myself I was wondering what your thoughts would be about this race that will prolly go down in a little while. This kid has a 1994 Z28 with new stock short block, LT4 Performance Heads, LT4 Intake, LT4 hot Cam kit "218/228 dur 525/525 " lift, Flomaster cat back Exhaust system, no y pipe or headers yet, and a 6 speed. My set up is a Ford Racing 5.0 Long block, Gt40X Aluminum Heads, B-303 Cam, 1.7 Roller Rockers, edelbrock RPM "air gap" Intake, 625 Road Demon Carb, Hooker Super competition Headers, H-pipe no cats, flo-tech exhaust, 5 Speed. @ 2500 lbs . Any ideas of what the outcome of this race could possibly be ?

Both our cars have the stock gearing, but I am getting 3.55s very soon with a either posi or limited slip diff. Its a 1965 Falcon Ranchero. It prolly weighs like 2700 mabye with me in it.
I think the gearing in the Z28 is like 3.40 or something and I only have a 3.00 |

Z-28's gearing is either 3.23 or 3.42. Unless either of you have some decent tires think it'll gonna come down to whoever doesn't spin.

B cams like carbs, so yours probably pulls nice up top. His car will be a monster up top so you better have the jump on him. It should be a good race if yours is truly the weight you say.
