When I get my 10-disc up and going, I'm going to burn a race CD and keep it in there "just in case".

Realized today that you really can't beat some of the oldies, and angry country songs are good too. Something about them saying America is great while you're racing a great American car just seems so right, even though country can seem so wrong.

Come on people! What about Stranglehold by Ted Nugent? That is the heaviest foot-having song there is - especially on a long cruise. Try the 7+ minutes of mellow but heavy tunes by the master himself and you will see.

Call me crazy but I like the tunes of the early 90s Like:

The Smashing Pumpkins
Nirvana
NIN
Stone Temple Pilots
Radiohead

They all bring back memories to me like cruising in my stang and blasting ZERO from the pumpkins or Smells like teen spirit from Nirvana...ah memories...

Man oh man, I did not think this post would be coming back. Ha...

Well music has not changed that much since I posted. Except I now love "Hella Good" by No Doubt.

wow this post is what im talking about!!

i like angry music when i street race! The highlight of my life is when i pulled up beside some dude in a new integra playing some techno stuff and i was blasting i think it was seasons in the abyss by slayer as loud as my little stock speakers and tape deck would go then i smoked him.

anyway here are my faves!:

white zombie - thunderkiss 65
white zombie - supercharger heaven
slayer - 213
slayer - angel of death
metallica - the four horsemen
metallica - fuel
metallica - creeping death
steve miller - take the money and run

The best songs of all time however are:

STEVE EARLE - COPPERHEAD ROAD
STEVE EARLE - SWEET LIL '66 ( yea i know its about a chevy:S)

Default PANTERA!!!!

Call me old school (or whatever you'd like ) but my heart starts pounding and my adreniline starts pumping everytime I put Pantera on while driving. I usually will have a few "racing" CD's in my ten disc at all times. Slayer, OLD Metallica, Slipknot, Static X, usually any one of these will do, Keith

my favorite music to cruise to is frost's melodica album. it's awesome. it makes everything feel really surreal and cool. i strongly recommend every driver give it a try at least once.
