Yes, yes, of course, you're right......take another hit of yo mamma's crack pipe Hungry4GayMen (sorry if all the punctuation in my posts causes your eyes to glaze over). Noone's saying that a Stang can't beat a Chevelle, we're just saying that your run on sentences make no sense, are just plain hard to read, and cause birth defects in fetus', due to your apparent illiteracy. We know - you're a Marine, a Kung-** expert, can kick all our a$$es, we're all gay, you can beat all our cars while hopped up on crack drving in reverse, you're one of the original teenage mutant ninja turtles....we know, you're the best. You're what they call an egomaniac and have extreme illusions of grandeure.

Withamc is right, if you lost the attitude, you'd be accepted on this site and woldn't be thought of as such a jacka$$. We're all cool here, interested in our Stangs, we like to help, get help and trade cool race stories, and none of us get every word spelled correcty every time.

We have a lot to learn, so please teach us....but for the love of God, complete your hooked on phonics course first.

WOW guys, take it easy on Mr. Marine here The story sounds believable, except for the wheels lifting off the ground part. Those old 454 Chevelles werent that fast stock. I have personaly beaten a stock one and Im not fast. It probably wasnt an LS6 but nonetheless.

Excuse my ignorance but WTF is a howling monkey?

Ok, I read your profile. How are you running 10's with the stock fuel pump? Are you on slicks because your only traction device listed is "skillz" You have a 5.0 in a 97 Cobra? What happened to the original 4 cam 4.6?

i tossed it and got a 5.0. its not a stock feul pump but thats one of the few mods i didnt do to the car so i dont know what the brand is. and that was my best run it was about 70 trackdegrees and i had full slicks, well worn out street strips.

So why'd you toss the 4.6? The 4 cam is a decent platform. (Im partial to the 5.0)

Yeah, 5.0 = more displacement 4.6 = more cams and valves. Just a different way of doing the same thing.

just curious hungry4gms, I looked at your readers ride info, and it just doesn't make sense. You say that you just bought the supercharger for your "5.0" and just installed it. Why does your pictures show what appears to be a 4.6l dohc motor with a supercharger? I also can't see your Monster tach and boost gauge. Where's the Cobra R rims? It appears that you spent alot of money on the 4.6 dohc before changing to the "5.0" setup if these are just old pictures or from what other people on this board are also saying, "you're full of it!" Please prove us all wrong, or just admit that you have a pretty much stock 97 cobra with a Vortech. Even if that is the case, I don't think it is something to be ashamed of. It appears to be a very nice car!
