I definitely want to hit it sometime this year, but July is shot - maybe August? Also, Fontana is opening in September right? We could all meet there on opening day.

You come all the way from Arizona to race at Carlsbad? That's gung-ho! I won't be able to make it this time, but don't give up on me. I will go!

Yeah, I drive from Yuma. It's about 2 1/2 hours to get there. The only other tracks around me are in Phoenix (too hot, same distance) and in Mexico (nope, not racing there)

Question

Where exactly is Carlsbad in relation to Ventura? Ventura is about one hour north of L.A.

Thought I would have my car ready but I still have some work/tuning to do. Can't make it on the 14th, going to have to push it back a weekend to the 21st.

Remounted my nitrous bottle yesterday though, let that *&8!#^#^!% at the track try to pull on it now! It's now mounted properly (bottle running paralell with the car and on a 30* tilt)
Still have some re-wiring to do though and its going to take a while

Sounds good, I should have some heads and intake by then.

I still need to go soon, I HAVE to get a good baseline to see what it can run.

Are you going to ditch the bottle? Why wouldnt you squeeze as well like he is? I just ordered the same heads he uses except I will be using a slightly larger Bcam and a TFSR intake with 30lb injectors. By september I should be able to get a bottle too

No, I am not ditching the bottle. What I was trying to say is that he runs faster than I do off of it (hell, he is faster off the bottle than when I am on it!) Even with the engine mods I am going to be doing, I will still be about a second slower than him.
