Post Tires rub wheel wells need some spring coil advice

I have a 1990 mustang that has 17 inch cobra wheels. When I run over bumps or have someone in the back seat they rub or bottom out. Will putting new factory spec. springs stop the rubbing or do I need to get a stiffer spring? Has any one had this problem and can you recomend any springs?

the only problem that i have had in rubbing was with tires being too wide. whenever i made turns or went over bumps, you could hear the back tires rub bad. i put smaller tires on the back, and the problem went away. i also have steeda lowering springs on my car. did you say that your car was lowered also?

Try getting the adjustable lower control arms. You can raise or lower the rear of your car 2 inches. Might look kind of goofy raised high in the back, but you might not need much and they're a big improvement over stock ones.
