![]() my friends 66 mustang has just started this problem.. when going from a stop the trasmission will slip.. meaning when she starts to press the gas pedal the rpm's will go up but the car will not move. then after about 2 or 3 seconds the tranny will go into gear. this has just started happening after no other changes.. this car is otherwise very well taken care of. I know that it is not a low fluid problem becase fluid has ben added to make shure of this. what could cause this and it is difficult to fix? any info on c4 sites will help..thanks
66 mustang 289 2bbl high compression heads. stock tranny and gears. driven by typical highschool teenager. thanks for your help guys..
