new times @ lubbock
Getting a better 60 ft sure brings the et down. 1.71 60ft 7.34 1/8th 95.6 mph and 11.402 at 122.3. Thats with a 100 shot. It feels like sombody pulled a rug out from under ya, out of the hole. :)

I was about to make a similar tread to say I ran 13.7 @ 103mph with the civic but I feel slow now.... :(

11.40 at 122mph?? That's all you could get out of that steaming white pile of donkey doo you call a car? Sheesh. My sister's x-boyfriend's mother's third cousin's nephew's car did 11.40's with a 75 shot and a BONE STOCK BLOCK! And you call yourself a professional-race-car-engine-builder-with-years-and-years-of-experience! I know a guy named Roach who could take a 6-banger Mustang, piss in the gas tank, put on a K&N and a 50 shot of the sauce and run 12.02's all day long. 11.40's aint no thang.
hehe.. Good numbers, boy. Get those bigger tires out back and you may just get a pinch of air under the skinnies if you nail the switch out of the hole. That is, if all of the front wheel drivers would stop driving straight through the water pit and dripping all over the launch pad. I got the fitting to run the pressure guage. I'll play with it tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Maybe we'll hit the 13's with my piece of turd yet. --nathan |

I havent seen any imports in lubbock hit the 13's. There was a new mitsubishi 4x4 car of some sort going 14.20. Great take off. i was impressed. Nathan knows what kind of car it was.

It was a new Lancer Evo. It was fun to watch. He'd pull right around the water box, stage, and then with a tiny little chirp, he was gone. Surprised some people, that's for sure. I watched him beat a new GT who was feeling a mite big for his britches. Nailed him on the hole shot and he was never able to catch it up.

I wonder how much one of those costs?

Right around $30,000.
