![]() Well, put it this way, I'm not to happy with the car. Heres my best ticket of the night
.924 1.741 5.208 8.129 84.29 10.638 12.759 106.79 I just ran a 12.9 not to long ago, and I added the Edelbrock intake and Crane Cam, and picked up 2 tenths or so but almost 4 mph?? What gives on that? One thing is my 60' times weren't as good as before, I'm almost possitive that my 130k traction lock has had it, I was noticeing that the drivers side tire wasn't spinning as much if any at all as the passenger side. So what do you guys think? 130k on the stock motor, $300 heads, $150 cam, $350 intake and I'm on my way to the mid to low 12's with some tuning. ------------------ 87 GT, 4 inch cowl hood,17x9 Cobra R's/255/45's,GT-40 heads,Crane 2031, Edelbrock intake, long tubes headers,h-pipe,Flows,BBK cold air, Mass air,70mm MAF, 1.7's, 1" spacer, underdrive pulleys,Pro 5.0, King Cobra, Adj. fuel Reg., Lakewood Lift Bars,50/50's,subframes, 4.10's. ![]() It's just that I picked up all that MPH and not very much ET. I'm going to rebuild this traction lock and go back next week. I really need to tune it. Like I said, I have no idea what my fuel pressure is at. Still stock injectors,pump,ect... I wonder if thats holding me back any?

![]() I would do 2 things, both you already touched on. Get traction. Either rebuild /buy new differential or try changeing the fluid to standard gear lube with NO fiction modifier. Secondly, add an adjustable fuel regulator. Raise the fuel pressure until it slows down. Keep a good log book to reflect on, it helps. Also, your 60ft could be down just because now you are making more power down low. Your engine is up to par, now get the rest of the car to match.

![]() You did try upping the launch RPM's to match the shift in powerband of the cam, right? How did it behave off the line? Spin, or bog?

![]() I was launching at 5500 on my auto meter, so right off the shift light. It didn't jump like it usually does. It surley didn't bog, or spin.

![]() Hey, those results look good the 106 mph is great. I like you also need to do the rear I don't think my 180K mile axles and carrier are going to take the 5500rpm launches for long either. With some tuning you'll ge that combo down, don't worry.
