Heres new videos of my car.

I have to say I really hate the holley intake. I lost so much lowend. Im sure its a great intake for strokers, but for my car it was wayyy too much. I used to have great power from 2500 on up. Now its very soggy till 4000.

1. Is a flyby, my least favorite.
2. Is a pretty good burnout, I get REALLY sideways.
3. Is me charging a dip and gettin a little air.
4. Is a little over a 1/4 mile pass. 0-120mph.
5. Is me getting sideways and burning out a little.

Nice videos, it's fun not having traction, but at the track it's not!

Lxmike- Yeah doesnt really hook up till 3rd gear there as you can see.

Tireburner- What version of windows do you have? Update your media player to the latest version through Windows Update.

Yeah, thanks, I have to say I really love the sound of my exhaust setup, it doesnt sound like most other 5.0's.

Sounds sweet man. I heard some people talking about Carlsbad on July 6th. That track would be more benefitial to a 110 trap than LACR, if I'm not mistaken.

Cools videos Skyman. Too bad about the intake, you may be surprised when you get to the track.

You're car sounds real good. What exhaust set-up do you have? Sounds like an off-road h-pipe and Flowmaster 3-chambers?......

yea, iI want to hit Carlsbad soon, But I just broke my wrist (in 3 places, ugh) last night playing basketball.

Soon as I can drive I'm ready to go.

i think our boys' been watching to many lakers games. what happened? someone hack you? that reminds me. i was at the park w/ my nephews playing some ball and these black dudes had this big *** game going and one of them had the ball and was flying down the court w/ another dude right on his ***, and the one with the ball somehow tripped over his feet and went flying head first into the pole!! that mofcker went "biiiiiiing" the dude sat there holding his head for a few minutes and his buddy that was chasing him said "get up or get off the court you baby" and he strolled over and sat down on the bench and sat there holding his head and mouthing off **** about his buddy. the whole time i was standing there trying not to laugh.

I think you will like the intake. I picked up 2 mph when I switched from my GT-40 with the 1262 ported lower.

Awesome videos man!! Thats one sweet car you got there. Do you just put the stock pipe back on when you have to get it smogged? I really want to put an off-road h pipe on mine :D

I like everything about the videos except your pastey white thighs workin the pedals!:p :p :D

It did lose some snap down low, but the top end gain more than made up for it. With the GT-40 I made peak power @ about 5000 rpm. The Holley made peak power @ 5800. I have a lighter car than you, so the torque loss might not be as noticeable on my car.

oohh **** you, Those were old crappy basketball shorts I use for workin on the car. I sure hpoe you dont roll up your shorts and tan your thieghs at the beach like a homo.

I have a similar setup,I am running a 100 shot my best run at carlsbad is a 12.5@112mph, what kind of suspension setup do you have? I think with my trap speed, I have alot more in this car. Any suggestions? I know I am killing myself with all the handling components, and middle road or tricks I can do?

What is the elevation of Carlsbad? I would think a heads/cam/intake 302 with a 100 shot would go quicker than 112 mph. More like 115-116 at least.

Carlsbad is abput 50feet.

MMLX let me know next time u wanna go. It will be atleast 4 weeks for me cuz I broke my wrist, but Im sure I can help ya get into the 11's if U got some tire.

I believe it is close to sea level. Carlsbad is a terrible track in general, I have talked to guys that have ran thier cars at Pamona and ran almost a second faster with the same setup.

Sounds good Sky, I am running on the drag radials, but I am very limited on side wall because of the baer brakes, can't fit any smaller of a wheel. Need to research some more, possibly find a thin 16" rim

On second inspection thats not my legs, I Have tan colored shorts on well over my knees.

I was just playin around man....My thighs are WHIIIIIIIITE so I always gotta have shorts on down to my knees. My knees are even pretty white compared to my calves and shins too. I was out in the sun for about 8 1/2 hours per day for 5 days straight a few weeks ago at football camp wearing full pads. My lower legs got nice and dark, but that's it!

And no, I don't pull up my shorts when I tan at the beach. Actually, I don't tan at the beach, I don't even tan at all! I just work outside all day and usually don't have a shirt on...:cool:

I have h-pipe and 3cbr combo too, it sound sreal nice.
