If you can mod your cobra, we can mod our new GT's. No point of discussing what a modded car can run againt a stock car.

HP is not the only thing that mades a car go fast. The 5.0's were fast because they had a flat torque range throughout the RPM's.

ForPointSex, you can mod your GT all you want. The stock heads/cam/intake combo on the Cobra are significantly superior to your stock pieces. End of story.

As far as modifcation goes, you let me know how you expect to get 320hp out of a computer swap, MAF, and exhaust modifications. You'd be lucky to see 290hp.

I don't know who that was directed at, but if you'll notice, I've modded BOTH my cobra and my new GT. Yes the GT is faster as of now, but give the cobra just a cam, gears, and a chip, and it will eat the GT easily. Try putting a cam in the new GT's and see how much power you get...it'll suck.

Actually there was a guy at the races with a 2kgt I was talking to a while back that had full exhaust, gears, pulleys, steeda timing, some kind of cams and a chip, some other boltons... he was having problems getting that thing to idle right and he said it only dynoed at somewhere around 275rwhp
