Nope, I dont think so. I own both cars, and my GT is an automatic to boot. When the cobra had headers, pulleys, flows and a K&N filter and the GT had just pulleys and mufflers I raced the two cars against each other time and time again and the GT always stomped the cobra. It was close off the line, but then the GT would just walk the snake. The new GT's have 260hp and weigh 3300lbs. The cobra's have 240-250 and weigh 3500. I'm not calling straight BS on you, but I dont think the GT guy was giving it all he had, or it was a BONE stock automatic GT.
So, if it really happened, good kill, but I don't think it was a legit victory.
